Ivana Lisjak, 2nd Smrikva Bowl 1997 winner, after the great performance in the qualifications of this very important WTA tournament, Pacific Life Open – “the fifth Grand Slam” tournament, won versus Alexandra Stevenson by 7:6; 6:2. Ivana Lisjak passed the qualifications for the Indian Wells WTA Tournament
Ivana Lisjak, 2nd Smrikva Bowl winner and top ranked Smrikva Bowl winner on professional tennis ranking lists, passed qualifications for the Indian Wells WTA Tournament (USD 2.100.000). Ivana Lisjak, currently ranked 121 on WTA list, won in the first round qualifications Ludmila Cervanova 6:0; 6:0 (ranked 143 on WTA list) and in the second round qualifications Ivana won 6:4; 6:4 Barbora Strycova (ranked 154 on WTA list).
Last year in August, Ivana Lisjak reached 3rd round at the US Open and this was the best Ivana’s result in her career up today.

Ivan Levar won the Croatian under 12 Indoor Championship
28 february 2006, Ivan Levar, 9th Smrikva Bowl 2004 winner, won the Croatian under 12 Indoor Championship. When Ivan won Smrikva Bowl in 2004 he played the whole tournament with injured legs. The year later he broke his hand and today he is ranked number 1 under 12 in Croatia and the winner of the Croatian under 12 Indoor Championship. In 2004, after the Smrikva Bowl, Ivan Levar played 3rd “Little Mo” / Smrikva Bowl. He won both matches and contributed to the victory of the Smrikva Bowl team.

26 february 2006, Silvija Njiric, 8th Smrikva Bowl 2003 runner up, won the ETA under 14 tournament in Helsingsborg in Sweeden. Silvija Njiric also represented Europe on 2nd “Little Mo” / Smrikva Bowl that was played in Austin in Texas and contributed to the Smrikva Bowl team victory.

Giacomo Campus - Giacomino "idemo!"
In 2004, Giacomo Campus played Smrikva Bowl. Giacomo’s true passion is tennis. Since the last summer he has been away from the courts, and is stll fighting to come back to play. He had a long surgery but his will, strength and smile should win and he should be back stronger than before. After the tournament Giacomo remembered croatian word “Idemo” that croats use to encourage their players. So the only message to encourage Giacomo would be: “IDEMO” Giacomo!

Jennifer Ren - OCS Young Sportperson of the Year 2005
Jennifer Ren fought off stiff competition from across the UK and impressed the judges with her outstanding achievements and her huge potential. Jennifer won nearly every National junior title at her level, many European accolades, and was Semifinalist at last Orange Bowl. In 2003, Jennifer won 8th Smrikva Bowl.
OCS has a long history in supporting sport through the development of young promising sports people. Over the last seven years many of the youngsters who have received sponsorship through the awards have gone on to compete for Great Britain and become accomplished athletes.
