9th "Little Mo"/Smrikva Bowl

The 9th “Little Mo”/ Smrikva Bowl was played again in Pula at the Smrikve Tennis Club (Croatia) on Sunday, June 27th 2010. The Smrikva Bowl team defeated the “Little Mo” team with result of 6:0.

Max Motlagh, Claire Liu and Alexa Butera have been selected by the MCB Tennis Foundation to represent the United States.

For the Smrikva Bowl team the players were selected the finalist of the 15th Smrikva Bowl 2010. Jovana Vuković (Srb), Paula Arias Manjon (Esp), Nicola Kuhn (Esp) and Karlo Suevich (Cro) represented Smrikve on 9th “Little Mo”/ Smrikva Bowl.


8th "Little Mo"/Smrikva Bowl

The 8th “Little Mo”/ Smrikva Bowl was played again in Pula at the Smrikve Tennis Club (Croatia) on Sunday, June 28th 2009. The Smrikva Bowl team defeated the “Little Mo” team with result of 7:1.

Noah Schachter, Alex Gee, Michaela Gordon and Ashley Lahey have been selected by the MCB Tennis Foundation to represent the United States.

For the Smrikva Bowl team the players were selected among the finalist of the 14th Smrikva Bowl 2009. Alvaro Regalado Pedrol (Esp), Samuele Ramazzotti (Ita), Katie Swan (Uk), Jovana Vuković (Srb) represented Smrikve on 8th “Little Mo”/ Smrikva Bowl.

7th "Little Mo"/ Smrikva Bowl

The 7th “Little Mo”/ Smrikva Bowl was played again in Pula at the Smrikve Tennis Club (Croatia) on Sunday, June 29th 2008. The Smrikva Bowl team defeated the “Little Mo” team 9:8 by counting the sets won because the overall result was 4:4.

Justin Lee, William Blumberg, Ingrid Neel and Paolina Ferrari have been selected by the MCB Tennis Foundation to represent the United States.

For the Smrikva Bowl team the players were selected among the finalist of the 13th Smrikva Bowl 2008. Luka Panic (Sui), Mihnea Turcu (Rom), Katarina Jokic (BiH), Maia Lumsden (Sco) represented Smrikve on 7th “Little Mo”/ Smrikva Bowl.

The 6th “Little Mo”/ Smrikva Bowl was played again in Pula at the Smrikve Tennis Club (Croatia) on Sunday, June 24th 2007. The Smrikva Bowl team defeated the “Little Mo” team 7-1.

Eduardo Nava, Tommy Paul, Ndindi Ndunda and Domonique Garley have been selected by the MCB Tennis Foundation to represent the United States.

For the Smrikva Bowl team the players were selected among the finalist of the 12th Smrikva Bowl 2007. Sacha Merzetti (I), Bogdan Borza (Rom), Virginia Pena (Esp), Ana Konjuh (Cro) represented Smrikve on 6th “Little Mo”/ Smrikva Bowl.

The 5th “Little Mo”/ Smrikva Bowl was played again in Pula at the Smrikve Tennis Club (Croatia) on Sunday, July 9th 2006. The Europeans defeated the United States 7-1.

Daniel Maese, Aries Wong, Christina Makarova and Gabriella Umoquit have been selected by the MCB Tennis Foundation to represent the United States.

For the Smrikva Bowl team the players were selected among the finalist of the 11th Smrikva Bowl. Gianluigi Quinzi (I), Filip Kraljevic (Cro), Eleanor Dean (Uk), Dina Paocic (BiH) represented Smrikve on 5th “Little Mo”/ Smrikva Bowl.

4th "Little Mo"/Smrikva Bowl

The 4th “Little Mo”/ Smrikva Bowl was played in Pula at the Smrikve Tennis Club (Croatia) on Sunday, July 3rd 2005. The Europeans defeated the United States 5-3.

The players representing the United States were: Jeffrey Schorsch (Ohio), Jose Gracia (Florida), Yale Goldberg (Ohio) and Dorothy Tang (California).

The players representing Europe were the girls finalists of the 10th Smrikva Bowl and the first four players of the boys main tournament: Saska Gavrilovska (Srb), Olga Yanchuk (Ukr), Matteo Donati (I), Gyore Laszlo (Srb), Gianluigi Quinzi (I) and Harry Busby (UK).


3rd "Little Mo"/Smrikva Bowl

The 3rd “Little Mo”/ Smrikva Bowl was played for the first time in Pula at the Smrikve Tennis Club (Croatia) on Sunday, July 4th 2004. The Europeans defeated the United States 6-2.

The players representing the United States were: Mitchel Polnet, Rayan Andrada, Blair Shankle and Anna Mamalat.

The players representing Europe were the finalists of the 9th Smrikva Bowl: Ivan Levar (Cro), Miki Jankovic (Srb), Saska Gavrilovska (Srb) and Ecaterina Opriou (Rum).


2nd "Little Mo"/Smrikva Bowl

The 2nd “Little Mo”/ Smrikva Bowl was played at the Austin Tennis Academy (Texas) on Friday, October 24th 2003. The Europeans won by defeating the United States 6-2.

The players representing the United States were: Emmett Egger (Issaquah, WA), Robert Stineman (Winnetka, IL), Karen Forman (Del Mar, CA) and Katie Klyczek (Munster, IN).

The players representing Europe were the finalists of the 8th Smrikva Bowl: Jennifer Ren (UK), Silvia Njiric (Cro), Dominic Thiem (A) and George Morgan (UK).


1st "Little Mo"/Smrikva Bowl

The 1st “Little Mo”/ Smrikva Bowl was played at the Courtyard Tennis Club in Austin (Texas) on Friday, October 25th 2002. The Europeans won by defeating the United States 3-1.

The players representing the United States were: Jordaan Sanford (Rancho Cucamonga, CA) and Morgan Basil (St. Petersburg, FL). They were selected from the “Little Mo” Regional Championships. On the other side the players representing Europe were: Ajla Tomljanovic (Cro) and Ema Burgic (BiH), the second and third ranked on the 7th Smrikva Bowl.

Ajla and Ema were under 10 girls, that went across the Ocean, without fear, to play a friendship match with the top US players. Ajla, Ema and their parents allowed this dream to become true thanks to their courage and belief. When man made his first step on the moon, Armstrong said: it is a small human step but it is a big step for the humanity. We would like to think that every long trip that parents and their children do to play in this event can become a part of that big step for humanity :)
